The year 2023 brought a lot of success for the Czech developer CONTERA. It boasts the most innovative offices in the Czech Republic, and the Organica smart building has particularly received a number of awards since its grand opening in October. “We really appreciate all the awards. It is also a commitment for future projects,” notes CONTERA Project Director Martin Budina.

The development company CONTERA is expanding its cooperation with Valeo, a key player in the automotive industry. This concerns the Slovak Contera Park Prešov, where the international French company has been operating for a long time.

On 11 October, the Czech development company CONTERA inaugurated the Organica smart building in Ostrava. The grand opening was held in conjunction with the Scandinavian company Tietoevry, a leading player in the field of digital services and software. The event was attended by the highest political representatives of the region – the Mayor of Ostrava and the Governor of the Moravian-Silesian region.

Growing portfolio value, quality tenant structure and overall solid condition of the CONTERA development company. “All this contributed to the fact that we could afford to refinance our existing credit lines and obtain financing for further development,” says Daniela Fraňková, Contera’s CFO.

The opening of Organica, the Ostrava office building built by the Czech developer CONTERA, is knocking on the door. The grand opening will take place in October. It is therefore the right time to introduce all current tenants. They are preparing a range of smart solutions for the new smart building. What can you look forward to?

Prague, 27 October 2022 The parcel carrier PPL CZ today inaugurates a new depot in the South Moravian town of Hustopeče. The 25th depot in the Czech Republic will expand the capacity of delivered shipments by 15 thous. per day. 

Ostrava, 12 October 2022 CONTERA has completed the first two buildings of the CONTERA PARK OSTRAVA D1 logistics park in Ostrava-Hrušov, which covers an area of approximately 35 ha. The planned area is approximately 151,000 m2 of industrial space, with the first two buildings occupying an area of more than 108,000 m2.

The extensive renovation of CONTERA Park Říčany has reached the next stage. The TERRA building, where the Rossmann drugstore, the Spokojený pes company and CONTERA itself have found new premises, is now open. Another building, the former Sanitas pharmaceuticals warehouse, is being transformed into a modern office and retail space. The Park will also be embellished with additional greenery.

The outlines of the Organica office building are becoming increasingly clear on the former brownfield site in Ostrava. Developer CONTERA has completed the foundations and the building, which will be environmentally friendly and boast intelligent control systems, is beginning to rise in height. "In the Czech and European context, this is an exceptional work," said Ludvík Seko, the chief architect, during a press conference in Ostrava

The Vlčie hrdlo Business Park in Bratislava, which offers the lease of warehouse space, offices and halls now has a new owner. It was purchased from the investment group Natland by the CONTERA development company.

State-of-the-art technology including intelligent building controls, quality architecture, BREEAM Excellent certification and a prestigious address in the emerging city centre. These are the most interesting attributes of the Organica building.

Contera has begun the construction of a logistics complex on the site of a former brownfield in Hrušov. The future Contera Park Ostrava D1 will have the latest modern technologies and exceptional dimensions.

The largest retailer of sporting goods on the domestic market will move its logistics base from Rudná near Prague to Ostrava. The lease of the Sportisimo warehouse in Contera Park Ostrava D1, with a built-up area of ​​over 90,000 square metres, has become the largest lease contract on the industrial real estate market in 2020.

Start of a magnificent renovation in Říčany, new financing, thanks to which the preparation of two parks in Ostrava-Hrušov and Hustopeče could begin, expansion into Slovakia, contract extension with key clients.

PaperFoam, the world's leading producer of eco-friendly packaging, is expanding its production to the Czech Republic. As of August, it will start producing packaging in CNT Park Teplice. The unique production will bring several dozen new jobs to the Ústí nad Labem region.

Contera extended a contract with Den Braven, the leading construction chemical company, and with the logistics companies DHL Express and CS Cargo. The Pack4you shipping company is a new customer.

The leading car component manufacturer can now make use of a 20,000 m2 space in Contera Park Ostrava City, bringing 350 new jobs to the region.

FAST ČR, a consumer electronics wholesaler, has concluded a new long-term contract with Contera Park Říčany, where it is now the largest lessee. 

Contera obtained a loan from ČSOB and Komerční banka for a total amount of EUR 155 million. The larger part of the loan consists of funds for the refinancing of a portfolio of modern warehouses and production halls in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Contera Park Ostrava City is 100% occupied for the long term. Contera recently extended the leases of all its lessees. 

Contera opened a new branch in Bratislava in April. In autumn of last year, it bought Vector Parks: four logistics-industrial complexes.

As of February, Contera became the owner of approx. 80,000 m2 of land designated for industrial construction in the town of Hustopeče near Brno, in close proximity to the D2 motorway (Hustopeče exit).

In January, Contera completed the expansion for the Rychnov operation of Inteva, and in December 2019 it started the construction of new premises for JabloPCB's operation in Rýnovice.

Contera commenced revitalisation works on a brownfield in the Ostrava – Hrušov area. The Contera project will bring at least 700 new job opportunities in the next five years.

The developer group Contera and TPG Real Estate Partners enter into a strategic partnership. The goal of the strategic partnership is to use mutual opportunities for investment potential in the field of industrial real estate and implement development projects in Central Europe.

The Czech developer group Contera celebrates 10 years of its market presence this year. To mark this anniversary, the company is changing its logo and entire visual identity. The firm’s business parks will also be renamed.
